“Gimmie Dat” is a song by American recording artist Ciara. It was co-written by the singer and producer Kenneth “Soundz” Coby, and produced by the latter and Tricky Stewart. The song will serve as the third worldwide single from her fourth studio album, Basic Instinct (out December 14, 2010). “Gimmie Dat” is an uptempo dance song, featuring speedy, kinetic beets and a sensual-breathy tone. The single has been well-received by music critics who complimented its uptempo beat.
