new album is fucking awesome. maybe its a bit on the faster side but i dont think its lacking. Scott Carlson's vocals fits the music very well

New release is bumming me out. I want to like it but find the whole thing lacking.

I really like the new album and i think the vocals are good, but i agree with many here that i much prefer the old vocalist. The crazy vocals was one of the things that really defined the band imo. Hope Mikami does new projects with the old members in the future.

problem with the new album is that most of the songs dont feel like actual church songs to me. doctor death and river demon are the closest to the old stuff, and i too miss the slurred japanese vocals

Hmmm...ATTWN is a bit of a let down. If it were a random find on Bandcamp, I might say it has potential, but the riffs are pretty damn generic and the lyrics/vocals are pretty bad too. With such a huge line up change, why not just rename the project?

I miss the slurred Japanese accent vocals, made them sound more genuinely insane.
