Chuck Mangione is a renknowned flugelhorn musician and composer, known especially for his top ten hit “Feels So Good” off the album of the same name, which taught listeners what a flugelhorn was. He was commissioned to write the soundtrack to “The Children of Sanchez”. After 22 hours of recording, and after studying the people he was writing the music about, he commented that “we truly became The Children of Sanchez”. Do not be satisfied with the shorter cut, but listen to the longer cut on the soundtrack album.
