  • I went on a weeklong tour of Ireland a few years ago and every morning on the bus our tour guide played Don't Forget Your Shovel to wake us all up. He also played us Lisdoonvarna and told us the story of the matchmaking festival as we were driving through the town itself. The first thing I did after the tour was buy one of Christy's CDs, and I've been in love with his music ever since. Gotta catch a gig of his one day soon... just wish he'd come to Australia!
