About This Track

The haunting and highly-acclaimed opening theme to the 2004 computer game Civilization IV, the lyrics to Baba Yetu are in fact a modified version of the Lord’s Prayer (“Our Father, who art in Heaven…”) sung in Swahili. This was likely a nod to the series-first introduction of Religion as a playable element in the game.

I promise you, you will *not* be disappointed.

This is in my option one of the very best tracks written for a computer game. Right on top with maybe two hand full of other tracks.
