The band existed from 1980-1993 where they split up. After the initial break up, in 1994 Gary Gennaro and Tommy Scanlan reassembled the band with a new lineup to fulfill their recording contract with Century Media. They only had a month to finish the album, as a result many of the songs that appeared on "On The Verge" were originally recorded with the early lineup.
Valume Nob are a metalcore band consisting of a number of veteran musicians who have been in some of New Orleans' heaviest underground bands. Following a 2004 EP, they put out their debut full length album in 2006 entitled "Residue and Bones". Although the band are unsigned, this album was recorded using their numerous contacts in the industry.

The Sursiks specialize in turning non-musical material into music. Their debut cd "I didn't know i was singing, vol. 1" consists of 16 songs constructed from the rhythms and pitches of human speech as found on answering machine messages. The notes and rhythms of the messages are painstakingly figured out, and songs are built around the resultant melodies.
