Eight miles high and when you touch down
You'll find that it's stranger than known
Signs in the street that say where you're going
Are somewhere just being their own

Don't forget McGuinn, Clark and Hillman! Also a great album!

Chris mainly played bass for the Byrds, and sang the high harmonies.

Chris Hillman guitar playing backed Roger McGuinn's singing in the Byrds.

The overlooked Byrd. With David Crosby, Gene Clark & Jim "Roger" McGuinn in the band Chris Hillman's talent tended to get pushed into the background but his material with the Byrds, Flying Burrito Bros, Manassas & Desert Rose Band can stand with the rest. About time Chris got his due.

Chris's mandolin work is much underrated. Check out "Full Circle" on the "Reunion" album. He's a newgrass Milburn Roe... ☺.
