Biography

Chisu (born Christel Sundberg in 1982) is a Finnish pop artist, songwriter and producer.
She started her career by composing the music to a ghost train ride in Särkänniemi, an amusement park in Tampere and has also written songs for Antti Tuisku, Tarja Turunen, Jippu, Kristiina Brask and Kristiina Wheeler. She was accepted to a high-ranking sound-recorder school in England, but the artist put her solo-career before school. She released her first album in 2008 titled “Alkovi”. She wrote her first single, “Mun koti ei oo täällä”, to the soundtrack of movie called “Sooloilua”. The song was a huge hit in Finland in Spring 2008. Her second album “Vapaa ja yksin” was released 23rd of September 2009 through Warner Music Finland, the first single being the song “Baden-Baden”.
