A lot of criticism for this album surprisingly...while soft for Chimaira, it still has some nice grooves and some interesting heavy/soft dynamics. Although those condemning the use of singing...screw you guys. Singing can be great in metal, just not the lame autotuned pop singing kind. This is alto style singing, so it works.

Clean vocals ruin what could be really good thrash/groove album. There are 3 great songs here: The Age of Hell, Year of The Snake and Born in Blood 3 decent songs: Loosing My Mind, Powerless, Trigger Finger And the rest of the album is just a boring filler shit. Seriously, what the fuck is Clockwork supposed to be? The chorus is laughable at best, and that extra long interlude is just stupid. A lot of wasted potential...
