The band was founded in Moscow, Russia in 2002 by bassist and lead singer Mikhail Karpov and guitarist Sergey Moiseev and played straight drummachine goth-rock. The next year Sergey quited and Ivan Raev took his place. After a while keyboardist Yuriy Ilyin joined the project and so “Children…” played a few gigs. The new songs were influenced by The Mission UK, The Cure, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Queen and many more. Drummer Max Vainer joined in 2005 and bassist Roman Fomin joined in 2006, so Mikhail switched to the second guitar.

CotG released album “From the Sea to the Ocean” January 2009.

CotG disbanded April 2011 due to the lack of interest from audience and musicians.
