"Pannonnica" was the full name of the Nica of "Nica's Dream", "Nica's Tempo" etc etc fame. She was the Rothschild heiress who effectively adopted the first wave of Bop musicians in New York - after being hooked by Monk's "Round Midnight". Bird died in her apartment as, much later, did Monk. She had over 20 jazz tunes dedicated to her. This has to be one of them. (Pannonnica is the name of some kind of moth which her father collected around the time she was born). There's a TV movie on her named something like "Jazz Baroness". There's a websight dedicated to it.
