‘Don’t Give Up’ first appeared on the Chicane album “Behind The Sun” (2000).

”I had just finished mixing ‘Cloud No. 9’ for Bryan and had the rough riff and the chorus to ‘Don’t Give Up’ done. I wondered just what the gravelly-voiced fella would sound like over it, and it turned out to be not such a bad idea. It became Mr Tong’s essential new tune of the millennium and catapulted all the way to the top spot.
