M People will be the headline act on Wednesday 4th July 2012 during the summer concerts at Kew Gardens, Richmond, Surrey, as part of 'Kew The Music'. Saxophonist and flutist Snake Davis will be joining M People for the concert too. Chic featuring Nile Rodgers, best known for the disco classic 'Le Freak', has been announced as the support act.

Lhasa De Sela (Lhasa) (1972-2010)
Following a 21-month-long battle with breast cancer, Lhasa died, age 37, on the evening of January 1, 2010, at her home in Montreal.
Rhett Forrester (Riot) (1956-1994)
Murdered. He was shot and killed in Atlanta, Georgia, after he refused to give up his vehicle in an attempted carjacking. The crime has not to date, been solved.

Tough question! I don't think I have one, but I'll choose one that still resonates with me after many years of listening. It's a song I still go back to listening despite how much I've changed since I first got to hear it, Alanis Morissette - Front Row.

day 02 (8/22/2011) - your least favorite song
Besides the obvious Britney song that no one really hates but feels indifferent towards it... I really hate Chic - Le Freak.

day 03 (8/23/2011) - a song that makes you happy
Definitely Kate Bush - Hounds of Love.

So many songs make me sad, I love sadness... I'll go with Miguel Bosé - Si Tu No Vuelves... it makes me think about my grandmother because I used to hear this song a lot while she was on depression…

Chic with Slash - Le Freak
The sheer amount of talent on this stage is overwhelming. This is one of the last performances that Bernard Edwards (bass) ever played in 1996--RIP. Slash is one lucky man to be next to and even fondled by Jill Jones--she is a goddess. Also Omar Hakim on drums and Gerardo Velez on percussion (played with Hendrix at Woodstock).
