Parachute” is the third single by British pop singer Cheryl Cole. The song was written by Ingrid Michaelson and Marshall Altman for Cole’s debut solo studio album 3 Words, released on 15 March 2010. Cole also said that the song contains her favourite lyric from the album; “you are your own worst enemy, you’ll never win the fight. ” Cole also said that the song was one of the options to be the lead single from the album; “Fight for this Love” was chosen instead.
