Swagger Jagger is the debut single by Cher Lloyd, released in July 2011. It begins with a verse in a hip “urban” club style before abruptly (and rather amusingly for those old enough to know it) turning into an updated dance version of the old country ballad ”Oh My Darling Clementine”, somewhat reminiscent of “Cotton Eye Joe”.
According to Songfacts.com, “Swagger Jagger” is not a Jack Swagger or a The Rolling Stones reference, but a term used for people who put you down.
