I've heard various Bird comps with wildly varying sound quality on each cut (different kind of hiss and crackle on each track) but the beauty of his playing will always shine through

though recording quality leaves something to be desired...early bird portends the yardbird's greatest and is a recording worth having--especially for die hard bird fans

Hot House! It's boiling. He's cookin' and this track is steamin' No wonder he burnt himself out so young. The guy was a genius and we have to thank him for all the music that has been produced since then, His influence was that stong and hot. Great title. Better tune.
