After playing drums for School Of Fish in the early 90’s, Chad Fischer soon moved on to front his own band, Lazlo Bane, on ALMO Sounds, best known for the NBC Scrubs theme song, “Superman”. Working in the cozy environment of his ever growing studio, Lookout Sound, in the heart of LA’s historic Laurel Canyon, Fisher was soon writing with and producing various luminaries such as Colin Hay, Liz Phair, Lisa Loeb as well as developing new unknown acts such as Alexi Murdoch. Fisher has also developed an accomplished career as a film and television composer, having most recently scored the indie hit comedy Garden State (Zach Braff, 2004), for which he also produced several artists on the film’s soundtrack.
