Chab is the stage name used by Swiss house music producer and remixer François Chabloz. Known for his progressive house style, Chabloz has an extensive history as a remixer and he has also released material under the monikers Moogwai and Star. Artists remixed by Chab include Gorillaz, Depeche Mode, Röyksopp and Nelly Furtado.

Chab is often known as the Global Undeground producer (“Tunneling” on A. Pappa cd, “Shaïva” on D. Howells cd, “Matica” on S. Lawler cd, “the dub session” on oldbreed DeepDish Moscow GU, “Music Play” and “Wanted” on coming Satoshi Tomiie GU).

After several successfull releases (“tunneling”, “matica” …), a fruitfull collaboration with dj nukem (“shaïva”, “wanted”, “instinct”, “secrets”…), a respected label (with its amazing website :), some side projects (star “rock rose”, productions with dave davis, steven s…), tons of remixes (Cevin Fisher, Week-end Players, PQM, Praha, Kamaya Painters …) and some fresh works on yoshitoshi, he’s now working with the best producers and dj in the world.

It's really suprising that "Sunrise" is Chab's the most popular track here - I was wondering that "You and Me", "Closer To Me" or "Girlz" are more known. But I can't say that's bad - combination of music and vocals from "Sunrise" gave this track unique vibe and it's my favourite Chab's track too!
