Biography
There is more than one artist with this name:
1. This German All-Star Mid-90s Emo Band, who were formerly known as Cerulean and the Delta Connection (They were forced to change their name to Pilots in Paris) Cerulean plays Melodic Indie/Emo in the vein of Mineral, Christie Front Drive, or Jimmy Eat World.
They Released a 7” (“Cerulean is the Delta Connection”, actually under the name “the Delta Connection” not Cerulean) a split 7” (with Azure) and a CD called Pilots in Paris.
Under their new name Pilots in Paris they released a split 7” with Blueprint.
2. Cerulean is a two-piece Scottish band formed in July 2008, originally comprising of Graeme Sinclair and Nicholas Stanley, the band escalated into a 5-piece alt rock group and rehearsed/played through the first half of 2009 before all but collapsing in the October of that year before being salvaged as a three-piece band which after a while dropped down to two.
To accommodate for the new set-up (Sinclair on guitar and Mary Sumner on lead vocals) the style is significantly altered from that of the earlier line-up and can best be summed up as electric/acoustic folk. The band spent the first half of 2010 writing inbetween University and other hazards and have used the late summer/early autumn for recording with views to releasing an EP in October.
