The band started in the summer of 1985. Had gone insane by 1988 and by that we mean exile from society, pathologised and sectioned. Four major albums to date - PSYCHIATRIC UNDERGROUND (1998), STRAIGHT OUTTA RAMPTON (2001), SHERGAR IS HOME SAFE AND WELL (2004) and AL AL WHO (2007). All these available on Pumf Records - www.pumf.net. Many other releases on tiny labels worldwide. Constantly shifting band line-up. The Hobs recently severed ties with Pumf and are working on a series of eleven interlinked albums all entitled OZ OZ ALICE, to be released between 2009 and 2014.
