Krystol was an Black female R&B group that preceeded such R&B groups as En Vogue. Krystol is best remembered for their 1984 hit song, "Same Place Same Time." They had some hit songs both before and after this song but they are not well known. In addition to solidifying a distinctive group sound, each of the quartet's members was capable of delivering solid lead performances.
Skipworth & Turner are a male R&B duo, consisting of Rodney Skipworth (from Syracuse, New York) and Phil Turner (from Memphis, Tennessee). Their biggest hit came in 1985, when they went to #1 on the U.S.
The Cool Notes were a mid 1980s pop group who had a string of chart hits in the UK between 1984 and 1986. The band consisted of seven members of both vocal and instrumental talent. They are best known for their UK number 11 hit "Spend The Night".
1) Patron (ex-Patron Flex). Born Ege Erkurt in 1988 in Mersin, Turkey. Erkurt formed a home studio in 2001. He founded a band named Kardinal in 2003 with his brother Saian. Patron released two internet albums: Kaldirimlar EP and Aydinlik Sonrasi EP. Then in 2007, he released a full album named "Sondurulmus Yildizlar & Sasal" and sold it in parties or via mail.

Mode XL is from Ankara, the capital of Turkey. They release their albums from their own label "Basemode Records" and the third album is due in 2007. The track "Muptela" from the second album "Serseri Serbest Stili" became a big hit in the hip hop / rap programs on Turkish music televisions and is still one of the most aired hip hop / rap videos in Turkey.
