Caroline (Caroline Lufkin) is a singer-songwriter from Okinawa, and the younger sister of Japan-based artist Olivia. A Finnish rock ‘n’ roll band founded in Helsinki in the summer of 2005 by the lead singer Tommy Gun. Besides Tommy the band consists of Simo (guitar), Ville (guitar), Samu (bass) and Henkka (drums). Their first mini EP “Stories of my life” was released in February 2006 and the second “Go And Get Yourself a Gun!” in September 2006. Their blend of Jazz and independent rock is often compared to Jim Black’s Alas no Axis.

I have a recommendation for Caroline fans. Please check out new artist Laurena Segura. She's a young singer from Montreal who's just released her first single (Permafrost). You can find more information on her (and listen to songs like Permafrost) on her youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/lullation13. Her single can be found on itunes. Similar to Caroline, her music has a delicate quality to it.
