Biography

BACKGROUND
Carol Mujokoro broke into the music scene in the late 80’s/early 90’s as a worship leader at her local ZAOGA church in Zengeza, Chitungwiza. She would sing at church conferences with her elder sisters and their group was known as The Blessed Sisters.
In 1993, Carol recorded her first professional album, Mufudzi Wangu with EGEA Gospel. The follow-up album to Mufudzi Wangu was Ndinokudai Jesu, where Carol contributed with hit tracks such as Tsvakai Jehova, Ndinokudai & Shungu Dzangu Mwari among others. She went on to record Vimba NaJehova as well as Kutenda with the same group.

In 1996, Carol recorded her first solo album called Ropa RaJesu. It was soon followed by Ndimwari Baba (1999) and many more powerful albums to the present day. To date she has released 12 powerful albums as shown below.
Carol is a Pastor with the Zimbabwe Assemblies Of God Africa (ZAOGA FIF). She enrolled for the Pastoral training at Africa Multination For Christ College (AMFCC) in 2008 and completed the program in December 2010. During her time at the Bible School, Carol wrote many powerful songs which she eventually recorded in 2011. Tracks like Wonderful King and Emmanuel became popular with Christians during Praise and Worship long before they were even recorded.
