, but she is best known for her work with The Geraldine Fibbers
. Since the Fibbers’ split, she has produced several solo albums, and collaborated on several projects (particularly with experimental jazz guitarist Nels Cline
) such as Scarnella
. Always influenced by country music, in 2003 she rerecorded Willie Nelson
’s concept album Red-Headed Stranger, with Nelson’s collaboration, to enthusiastic reviews. Her latest album, Evangelista
, was realeased in 2006.
