This virtuoso drummer and percussionist is well known as a member of the progressive rock band Emerson, Lake & Palmer.

Carl Frederick Kendall Palmer was born on March 20th 1950 in Birmingham, England. He has been playing the drums since he was 11 years old. His highly recognizable performance gave the significant feature to the projects like Asia, Atomic Rooster (the very first official band of this artist) or The Crazy World of Arthur Brown as well. But logically - he´s connected most frequently to the Emerson, Lake & Palmer as mentioned.

The unique playing style of this drummer legend always was and still is typical for its penetrative, dynamic and highly accurate performance with the strong accent on the technical mastery. There´s no doubt that the star of the third of the Emerson, Lake & Palmer triad shines still strong. There is a double live album out there - Working Live Volume 1 & 2.

Current line-up contains of Carl Palmer (drums, percussions), Paul Bielatowicz (guitar) and Stuart Clayton (bass guitar). As obvious, band is instrumentally focused. Keyboards are substituted by guitar effects and pre-recorded background. Three-man wonder!
