Carevac (Tsarevats) became popular in 1929 when Radio Belgrade in Serbia asked him as a talented violinist to found his own folk orchestra. Some of his songs feature soloists both instrumental and vocal. The songs are from various parts of Serbia but also include some from todays Bosnia, Montenegro, Macedonia.
