There are two bands with the name Capulet.

2009 is proving to be a fresh and exciting new start for Adelaide quintet Capulet, kicking off with the recording of their soon to be released debut EP!

As a band that has always been energetic and charismatic, Capulet have developed a live show that you cannot afford to miss, and with the addition of front man Tim Bartel, the vocal ability and song writing capabilities of this band have catapulted them to a whole new level!

Whilst recording at Electric Sun Studios, producer Dave Petrovic (The Mission In Motion, House vs. Hurricane) focused the band’s hard working energy into a release that combines extraordinary vocals with powerful guitars and a solid rhythm section, each of which have their own dynamic stories to tell.

So get ready for the mid ’09 release of ’We Won’t Let Go’ and expect to see Capulet on a stage near you very soon.

Capulet lull their listeners into a false sense of security from the beginning. Long passages of minimal sound and barely detectable intent often precede explosive changes in timing and atmosphere; playful melodies and unpredictable structures allied to sporadic singing.

The band formed in 2004, catalyzed by the split of two other bands, Lets Not Lose Mars To The Commies and Rebekah. In their new formation Steve Hodson, Adam Crosby, Adam Hartley and Gareth Canny set about constructing early material. More traditional in scope at first, sticking with verse/chorus/verse, the band soon progressed to more ambitious structures, and the vocals began to recede.

You people need to realise the world isn't exactly small, and there are always more than one band with the same name. It's just the way the world works. So stop butchering the wiki because you want a monopoly on the name! The Australian "Capulet" are an active band with a label, recordings, and touring, so I'm sure you're violating some TOS by removing this information consistently.

why the hell is there some guys in one of the photos that I have never seen before? Last time I checked, I had three band mates and our band was based in the UK. Lets make this clear...this is CAPULET from the UK signed to MOTIVESOUNDS? I'm in the band, so who the hell are those guys in that pic up there?

Yes this whole post-rock capulet and emo capulet mix is a mess.... I listen to the post-rock band, and it seems to be the one with more listeners......... so maybe the emo band should be tagged as Capulet USA or Capulet Emo or something like that hehehehe Cheers!! let's fix this hole mess
