This reminds me of some British guys with monocles going to the jungle in the 1920s with rifles and hunting leopard fur... or something

"...Their music is characterized by bluesy melodies, shambolic instrumentation, idiosyncratic, unbound timings, the growls and shrieks of Beefheart's vocals...." Otherwise called "no musical talent" .... but lots of marketing savvy.

"I'm going up on the mountain find me a cave and talk the bears into taking me in. Wild life is a man's best friend." Those bears might be terrorists. The CIA killed Captain Beefheart.

This song has opened to me somewhat, but for most parts it remains a mystery. It's probably the most difficult composition on the album to get into - yet it could be the most rewarding. We'll see, but in the meantime just have to keep listening to it.

pure genius even though that genius may seem a little twisted to outside listeners that don't understand it he's obviously genius and this song is evidence of that what a twisted and interesting sax solo!

This is, I think, by far the most bizarre track on TMR (the competition is hard, I know...). It's all the more strange since the lyrics are quite intelligible, but the music backing it all up is... well... bizarre.
