  • Clear Spot, The Spotlight Kid and Shiny Beast (Bat Chain Puller) are among my favorites from the Captain. Everything he ever did besides Bluejeans & Moonbeams and Unconditionally Guaranteed was great.

  • Dunno, lately Clear Spot's been growing on me. The second half of the album is just brilliant.

  • Yup. Albums like Lick My Decals Off, Baby, Ice Cream For Crow or Doc At The Radar Station are easily almost as good as Trout Mask if not just as good.
  • It's a shame the albums other than TMR and Safe as Milk aren't more popular.
