Formerly known as Capguns for Arcade, North Walian shoegaze/metal band with similarities to Isis, Pelican, Sigur Ros, Cult of Luna, Mogwai etc. Made up of 2 guitarists, a bassist and a drummer.
Formed in 2004, a couple of line-up changes have since followed as well as different musical directions, although they are most often described as shoegaze metal. Having extensively gigged North Wales they are now branching out to northern England, playing gigs with the likes of Rolo Tomassi, Brenda, Sunshine Republic, The Laze, (team) Photo, These Monsters and so on. Nathan joined the band in May 2007 to play second bass, Rich left the band in Early 2008.
Early demos exist of old material, although their first finished EP (a conceptual 4-track entitled ‘Day’) was released in August 2007 via the band themselves, and re-released in November 2007 by CORPS-MORTS records for a limited time.
In November 2007 they were invited to record a session in Cardiff with Greg Haver for the Bethan Elfyn Radio 1 show. The session included 2 tracks from the Day EP (Drawn to the Horizon & Lost to Water) as well as a new track (Tides) to be featured on their second EP; Night. They were also featured on Huw Stephens Best of BBC Introducing show in Novemeber 2007.
