"Let me know I got a breath left in this frigid fragile capsule that allows you to fly south before the winter winds trap you." Holy shit, that's amazing.
2 Nov 2010, 1:27pm

This track pretty much sums up why I listen to music.
13 Oct 2010, 8:19pm
Stunning track, and the instrumental on OXtrumentals is fantastic as well
11 Oct 2010, 3:43pm
The 'Portrait of Tracy' sample comes off masterfully. Probably one of the reasons @whiting_fish wasn't certain about it (I wasn't either). Better done than Dilla's sample of 'Opus Pocus' in 'Strip Club', IMO. The section is reappropriated and really creates a new sound, and is especially conducive to the verses (or vice versa?). This track pretty much sums up why I listen to music. Fantastic stuff. Abstract and cool at one level, but still feels raw and important on some other level.

Whew, exactly 1000 characters!

Birds of the same feather flock together, congested on a majestic street corner, that's a short term goal for most of 'em, cos most of 'em would rather expand their wings and hover over greater things, that's what we call inspired flight, by the pigeons who gotta eat pizza crust every night, and let there be light was understood, when a mic stand descended from up and above into the hood, and if my face is worth a thousand words when it's scarred I would only hope that two of those were cocoa and butter, to heal the wounds, of the tissue scarred, mark the death of my womb, but I've graduated, got my wings and you've gotta let go of my constructed Lego egg-o waffle halo, hey yo I'm a black man with an African drummin' my chest, that beats in the opposite of the right, lemme know I got a breath left, in this frigid fragile capsule, that allows you to fly south before the winter winds trap you, I wrap my hell I made it wetsuit stitched, so I can swim in elevators crazy wet through piss
9 Mar 2010, 5:18pm
Vordul's verse is just a random selection of words, but it's still dope as fuck!
8 Feb 2010, 1:57am

It's too bad this album could never be followed up with anything close to its level - this is the greatest. They remind me of GZA a lot except they aren't played out

Yeah, lyrical genius matched by a raw beat. Greatness.
