Of course the production isn't going to have touched what El could have done with it. Bill Cosmiq did a good enough job, didn't fill the shoes El left, but did a solid job. You can't ask much more from him. El's arguably the greatest producer in hip hop history. We'll always have the masterpiece that is "The Cold Vein" to return to. I'm glad Vast and Vordul returned and dropped a new project. You couldn't expect El and Cannibal Ox to work together again after the Vast/El & Def Jux beef.

The 3:33 remixed album of The Cold Vein is fucking sick. The original release is great but that complete remix is just so fucking good.

Missing Producto is apparent. Great album and glad to hear new Ox, but doesn't touch Cold Vein flavor for me...On the mic it's all magic and I got short sleeves/And I'm just that nice, I might let you breathe/Put a mic in front of me, and I'm gonna bless it/Hummingbird style, seventy times in one second/Hummingbird style, seventy times in one second
