  • Used to find it their weakest, but I was my fault, I just wasn't feeling it.
  • Improved on Eaten.
  • Ultra sick! I love this album cover artwork a lot! Yeah Those zombie butchers are amazing!
  • Subestimado demais, creio eu.
  • v I lol'd!
  • The whole album nothing but "thuk, thuk, thuk, thuk, thuk, thuk, thuk...."
  • Nothing beats this masterpiece.
  • *Best album of the "Barnes era".
  • Worst album of the "Barnes era".
  • No, it's official. My favourite Cannibal Corpse album. Everything in this album is perfect.
  • Way better than Eaten Back to Life.
  • This album is if not my favourite in the top three CC albums. The riffs, the drums and of course the mighty Barnes. His growls are more than awesome. Probably this is his best performance at least for me.
  • good riffs
  • The demon on the right on the artwork scares the shit out of me. Seriously ... what a look.
  • Best album? Let's see ... the guitar sound is like someone kicked a beehive, there is basically just one drum beat/tempo through the whole thing, there isn't ONE memorable riff just a mangled mush of near-chromatic nonsense .... this album makes "Eaten" sound like an opus magnum.
  • Yep, so far their best album. I love this sick atmosphere.
  • I can't believe how underrated this album is.
  • Their Best
  • One of my favorites
  • Bit too slow, but great, nonetheless.
  • Really great album, one of my favorites.
  • They had good ideas on this album
  • too monotonous, but not so bad.
  • Exelent Album (:
  • Fuck this album pwns. [2] Riffs Are Insane, The Only Thing That Lets This Record Down Is The Production.
  • My first CC album and one of my first brutal death metal albums!
  • The vocals and the drums on this album are sick!
  • @ Katorevenge My Bed Without Your Mum, Isn't My Bed. CC Rule Without Barnes.
  • CC without Mr. Barnes is not CC
  • fuck man, the tone is what makes this record so killer. shit sounds like it was recorded in a basement.
  • I love this album, but I'll be damned if it doesn't have the absolute worst death metal guitar tone that I've ever heard. What, did they daisy-chain like 8 Metal Zone pedals to their shit?
  • Yummy !
  • The release date is wrong ... this came out on July 1, 1991 (check on wikipedia if you dont belive me )
  • chris barnes 'tll death!!!
  • This is true Brutal Death Metal. 10/10 forever
  • I agree with ot63 brilliant album one of my fav's!
  • I was completely blown away by this way back in the day when I was like 12 or 13.. prior to that I had only heard Metallica. This was my first step into the boundaries of extreme metal. Still is quite astonishing the few times I give it a spin these days.
  • Easily my favorite album in all of death metal.
  • Every cannibal corpse fan should watch the lounge music version of Rancid Amputation. This cover is the best. I love their constant use of zombies.
  • fuck... this is a masterpiece
  • silly gore lyrics aside, there are some fucking solid riffs on this one. Oh yeah, and its fucking HEAVY. title track ftw.
  • The worst of the barnes era albums imo, tries too hard to be brutal, at the expense of everything else, though it's still awesome.
  • I love the lounge version of Rancid Amputation.. ^^
  • This Cover is the best I've ever seen :)
  • lol yeah, because we need to consult a death metal expert to decide what their best album is. Screw forming your own opinions!
  • Gutsy band!
  • I love that CD
  • Pretty cover.
