1) CAMPAIGN is a punk band from Atlanta, Ga. The band draws sounds from punk, hardcore, rock, and shoegaze.

2) Campaign is a Christian rock worship band hailing from the East Coast. Despite the label “worship music”, Campaign has a very unique, vibrant, and distinctive sound that is at times epic and sweeping, and at other times acoustic and subdued. Their latest EP, “Time’s Not Waiting” was released in 2009, and features new lead singer, Bryan Nance Jr. (formerly of Stereo Motion).

3) Campaign was also a 90’s hardcore/emo band from Long Island. They’ve had one 7inch called “Numb” and made two appearances on compilations: “Food Not Bombs” and “Anger and English”. After the breakup, members of Campaign went on to form several other obscure emo bands. Their member Chris Jensen also ran the Mountain Collective label.

    screamo is a very specific genre. the campaighn that i've heard is hardcore, or punk, but not screamo. screamo is orchid, saetia, pg.99, you and i, neil perry, off minor, the kodan armada, we were skeletons, suis la lune, circle takes the square, I would set myself on fire for you, I wrote haikus about cannibalism in your yearbook, and other primarily 90's bands.

    Last.fm really needs to fix the whole "multiple bands with the same name" issue. You have no way of telling 15,000 listens are for one of the specific bands, or all the bands with the name Campaign combined.

    Seriously, it's by no means screamo and they're definitely not shoegaze. Why the hell can't people learn their genres? It would make it so much easier for newfags to figure out what they're actually listening to.
