Biography
1) A one time political science student (aka Camille Dalmais), whose first album, Le Sac Des Filles, was released in 2002. Then, she was part of Marc Collin’s Nouvelle Vague project, which consists of old new wave songs transformed into bossa nova.
In 2005, Camille released Le Fil. This is a concept album, built on one note (a B) that starts at the beginning of the album and stops at its end. All the songs of the album are constructed on the voice of Camille with only one instrument (double-bass, and sometimes a keyboard).
Camille’s third studio album Music Hole, released in March 2008, shows a key turn in her career: it is mostly sung in English.
2) A ye-ye-style singer, from the 1960s.
3) A singer (aka Camille O’Sullivan), whose repertoire spans Nick Cave, to the songs of Jacques Brel & Kurt Weil. She is best known for her show-stopping performances in the ‘La Clique’, the headline cabaret show of ‘The Famous Spiegeltent’, a touring venue which makes stops at Edinburgh and Brighton festivals, as well as touring internationally. Her album ‘La Fille Du Cirque’, released through the Spiegeltent, is a collection of her live work there.
The 1960s Camille can be heard on her track Opération Charme, which appears on the compilation Ultra Chicks Volume 3: Baby Pop.
4) An alter-ego of Prince, used to record an unreleased album, Shockadelica. A few songs from this album were included on his 1987 album Sign of the Times, with the lead vocals still credited to Camille. The B-side of his 1988 single “I Wish u Heaven”, named “Scarlet Pussy”, is the only released song fully credited to Camille.

À un animateur qui est à l'aise de poser ses questions parce que celles-ci sont interessantes pour l'auditeur, mais surtout pour Camille elle même, des questions qui ouvrent la porte à une réponse où il est possible d'élaborer un peu plus de 5 secondes, je veux entendre ce que Camille a à dire, je veux des questions qui semblent préparées par une ÉQUIPE de recherchistes pendant toute une semaine. C'est ce genre de qualités que je constate et apprécie à TLMEP au Québec.

j'écoute http://on-n-est-pas-couche.france2.fr/ et je suis abasourdi, l'animateur a des commentaires tellement nuls, absolument sans interet, et présenté d'une manière ridicule, il et pas capable d'aligner 3 mots sans hésiter, et que dire des 2 bitchs critique qui d'un coté disent que l'album est sublime sauf 2 chansons puis elles parlent seulement de ce qu'elles n'aiment pas pour forcer un malaise. Je m'attendais à avoir une émission d'une qualité digne de la version québécoise de "tout le monde en parle" et j'ai eu droit à une parodie digne d'une télé communautaire. Et remarquez le malaise de Camille " ça fait 4heures que je suis ici et je tiens plus en place". je comprend bien, seulement après le premier monologue insignifiant de l'animateur à propos du titre de l'album, j'avais envie de lui en calisser une dans face. Et que dire de toutes ces questions tellement peu insirantes, et du moment où elle doit couper la parole pour pouvoir enfin placer un mot. WTF quelle émission minable.

Oh thank GOD. I really dig Ilo Veyou—wasn't a big fan of Music Hole. Glad to see a return of her Les Sac Des Filles-era style. At least, it's most like that album. It certainly has its own brand of creativity/unmitigated insanity.
