There is more than one artist with this name:

1. The Rapper: Cage Kennylz (born Christian Palko), commonly known as Cage, is an underground rapper based in New York City, United States.

Cage’s life has gone from watching his father shoot heroin, to addiction and violence and mental institutions to cutting an album for Columbia Records and being a rising star in the heyday of the NYC independent rap scene, to the final culmination and personal triumph that his most current release Hell’s Winter has become. It’s a brand new record from someone who has been through more extreme circumstances than most people could ever imagine, and has come out triumphant and a better person because of it, and whose artistic vision now reflects this.

18 years old, fresh out of the lodge, Cage decided to pursue his the talent he honed while in hell and try to become a professional rapper. He made a demo, got a manager and was introduced to Pete Nice of 3rd Bass fame. Pete featured Cage on his solo effort “Dust to Dust” on the song “Rich Bring ‘Em Back” in 1993. This was his first appearance on a rap record.

Through Pete Nice Cage met fledgling radio personality Bobbito Garcia who had just started his soon to be legendary late night mix show with DJ Stretch Armstrong. He was invited up to the show several time, earning a rep in the emerging underground NY scene as a savage and raw new MC with an original style based on his tortured life and demented imagery

No, you aren't crushing anything. Your making yourself look stupid as shit. Just because someone likes music that isn't the same as yours doesn't make them stupid or their music stupid, actually making you stupid for thinking that. It's two genre's of music. No one is better than another. There are PLENTY of hip hop artist I could see Metal fans liking, like Blood Grips. I'm sure there are Metal groups that hip hop people could get in to. Everyone needs to just stop beings so god damn stupid. Your fighting over music. Just like your music and respect the fact people's taste aren't the same.

[anyone who likes KTA never listened to cage when he was actually rapping] .. Well, that's bullshit. New album gets better with each listen. Miles ahead of Depart from me. Mighty Mi's beats are a perfect match for Cage on this, and with the exeption of a couple of choruses (and the bonus track), I like pretty much everything on this. Personally I don't think it's anywhere close to the greatness of MFTB & HW, but still..

Personally I love that every Cage album sounds different than the last its like the music is his therapy and each album is the demons he has exorcised since we last heard from him

Musically driven shit like "You Were the Shit" and "I Never Knew You" is always better than stuff like "Too Much".

I think we can all agree that: Movies for the Blind > Hell's Winter > For Your Box > Weatherproof > Kill the Architect > Depart from Me...

Ay just a tip for those who never knew, Cage was a lot better and more consistent in the 90s. He started in 92 and it's really evident that he has the motivation and drive to spit will and drop dope lines. None of this hipster goth shit. Cop the "Free Agent Orange" compilation online somewhere and check out the Radiohead demo, Just Like Clockwork and Paper Kuts. Furthermore, he had a project called Mudbones (before that it was called Bloody Ruffnecks) and that really shows him in his prime imo. He was also dope on Leak Bros with Tame One. gl enjoy

Compared to who else uses computers to make beats, these are actually listenable. Get your heads out of your asses. I do agree that Mighty Mi has officially given up his status as DJ Mighty Mi if retires turntablism tho. [RIP] Miss the boom bap beats fo sho but at least Cage stays true to himself.
