Nordicana from Copenhagen.
Inspirations might include Neil Young, Damien Jurado, Sixteen Horsepower, Sparklehorse, Ryan Adams, Mogwai, Johnny Cash and Paul Simon.
An EP was put out in January 2009 and an album was released in September same year. The band is currently working on new material. CODY has been invited to support bands like The National, Band Of Horses, Tindersticks and many others.

An Oxford (UK) based 4-piece, Cody originally formed in 1996 to play a strange mid-fi mix of synthpop, post-punk and indie rock that gained them a single on local label Shifty Disco. “Simple”, released in August 1997, was an 8-minute droning partly-spoken epic that gained gushing reviews and comparisons to Stereolab, Cabaret Voltaire and Arab Strap.
