Burn The Ballroom is a 3-piece alt/rock act from Northern Virginia formed in 2007 by Alan Gant (guitar/lead vox) and Tom Callahan (bass/back vox). In late 2008 drummer Bentley Cobb joined BTB to complete the lineup.
Burn The Ballroom combines the energy of today’s rock with a distinctive dark pop style. Often described as romantic yet haunting, their music continues to explore the fine line separating the rock/pop universe. With comparisons to the Foo Fighters, Coheed and Cambria, and Queen, Burn The Ballroom is poised to make their mark in the digital age of music.
Along with the release of their new EP “You’re Already Mine” in November 2010, BTB has continued to perform across the East Coast. With plans to expand their tour in 2011, Burn The Ballroom will continue to deliver new music to it’s dedicated and ever-growing fan base. BTB will be releasing one new song each month through the end of the year, with plans for a full-length set for November 2011.
