Burial's self-titled debut album was released in 2006. While the genre is usually filed under dubstep, there is in fact much more going on here. Ambient and garage often get used to describe the album. This album was very unique and fresh when first released and quickly rose Burial to the top of the dubstep scene. At this time, his real name was not known and he released music simply as Burial.

"Some of the best in any of the electronic genres in the past decade." What a bold statement. Maybe for those who haven't heard anything that is beyond your regular rock/metal/pop/hip-hop shite and have no idea about what real electronic music is and how huge was its development in the 00s.
