A Turkish soft rock band.
Bulutsuzluk Özlemi was formed by Nejat Yavaşoğulları (Guitar, vocals), Sina Koloğlu (Keyboards), Coşkun Şirinkal (Bass), and Murat Özbey (Drums&percussions). The band’s name can be literally translated as “the longing for clear (unclouded) weather”.
The band is known for their political, sharply-barbed lyrics and Yavaşoğulları’s quirky vocals.
The different professions of the band members is also of interest; Yavaşoğulları is an architect, Koloğlu is a journalist, Eldes and Ünal are engineers.
