In a music climate enjoying the long awaited re-emergence of rock, the BUGDUST blend of dynamic crunching guitar rock, relentless driving rhythms and killer three part vocal harmonies is set to take a serious grip on the rock fans wrestling with the challenge of finding music of the ‘Sweaty Honest Rock belt classification’. BUGDUST have entered the auditorium with four fists in the air to proudly deliver their latest recorded offering of rock n roll packed with riff driven hooks & rhythms, delivered with energetic passion - both on disc and on stage.
BUGDUST brings to the circuit each individuals experience as working musicians/songwriters as well as being involved in the music industry infrastructure at canvas level. BUGDUST are Adam – Vox/Guitar, co-partner in Cole Clark guitars (Josh Homme from Queens Of The Stone Age, is the owner of several Cole Clark “Mistress” guitars ), Alex – Vox/Bass, cut his live teeth in Couchgrinder, Jason ‘JT’ – Drums, full-time drum tutor and respected session man (Alex & JT built the studio that the ‘Set To Snap’ EP was demo’d/recorded & JT runs it) and Gabriel – Guitar/Vox formerly of NZ band Weta and for the past few years Melbourne resident.
BUGDUST are no strangers to the live gig experience having already forayed into the arena on tour alongside fellow champions of rock; Grinspoon, 28 Days & Pacifier. The band is also extremely pro-active on the live circuit in hometown Melbourne. The respect is already on record from their peers and the band are ready to take it to the next level.
“BUGDUST are one of those bands that have it all. Tough riffs, great playing and most importantly strong songs. Do yourself a favour! Set to snap indeed!” Chris Cheney – The Living End.
BUGDUST & RB MANAGEMENT recently joined forces with Australian independent label ROADSHOW MUSIC. The mutual plan is to introduce BUGDUST in to the Australian rock music psyche with the self titled EP.
BUGDUST write their original material as a band; a four way formula of ‘balls to the wall’ rock and roll songs already enjoyed by the live audiences and finally becoming available on disc. The ‘SET TO SNAP’ EP features the following four killer tracks:- ‘SET TO SNAP, ‘REMOTE CONTROL’, ‘MIKE TYSON’ & ‘LIVE WIRE’ – A Motley Crue cover… because they can and are bloody good at it.
