Buddy Holly is considered one of the most influential founding fathers of rock 'n roll. In 2004, Rolling Stone Magazine ranked him #13 on their list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. Although his career was cut short, his body of work is considered among the best in rock music history.   • It amazes me how many young people have never heard of Buddy Holly, and then I try to use the scrobbler plugin for iTunes, which never captures my scrobbles and I realize they never get a chance because my scrobbles are never picked up. With tracking tools like this no wonder the state of modern music suffers so!
