On the 4th April 1981, history was to be made as four relatively unknown singers Mike Nolan, Cheryl Baker, Bobby G and Jay Aston, collectively known as Bucks Fizz, represented the UK at that year's Eurovision Song Contest.

  • Bucks Fizz were far more superior than Ace Of Base or the absolutely dreadful Roxette!
  • Roxette and Ace of Base don't really sound like ABBA, the only have a similar image and place of origin.
  • NEVER heard of 'em until these music web sites suggested them to me (because of my love for ABBA apparently). Listening to the samples they really sound like ABBA clones. Not sure I need more, already like Roxette & Ace of Base who are scandinavian to boot.
