With the announced hiatus of the Constantines, Webb recorded a debut solo album Provider, which was released 15 November 2011 on Toronto label Idée Fixe Records.

    Yeah it's strange how under the radar this release has been, I mean the Cons were a fairly well known band. I'm sure it will pick up steam as more people talk about how incredible it is.

    I find it disgusting that every human being on this planet hasn't listened to Provider. 580 listeners, that's it? I don't really care how many people like what I like, but I figured that this man would have at least a couple hundred thousand listeners. Unacceptable.
