I loved Nebraska as an acoustic album, I thought it was great and I think it's a masterpiece... But this <3

Plays like a Cormac McCarthy novel. Really chilling yet exciting.

Immense album, underrated by so many including myself until maybe a couple of years ago. Now I see it as one of his very best releases [2]

the first side of this album is 6 of my favourite songs ever. after that it gets a bit samey, but that may just be because i don't know the second side well enough. springsteen is certainly exhibiting his almost supernatural gift for songwriting throughout though.

The spirit of John Steinbeck must have chosen The Boss to be the vessel for this amazing work. One of the best albums ever made in any genre, in my opinion.

hmm i wouldn't say the entire thing is dull - i think there are five amazing songs, to which the rest don't quite live up.

Bless The Bruce for indulging his acoustic folk side but God is this album dull. "Tunnel Of Love" showed how he could do an acoustic sound with melody and soul.
