Winners of the Independent Music Awards “Best Live Performance” category 2011, Brother Joscephus and the Love Revolution has been on mission since late 2007 to make the world a more righteous place. The band combines Soul, Secular Gospel (that’s right, gospel without the religion), R&B, Jam, Funk, Roots Rock, and New Orleans styles with a lyrical message of universal love and acceptance.
Brother Joscephus and the Love Revolution functions as a truly international musical collective, having performed live with over 250 different members from around the globe, topping out at 23 during the recording of the now award-winning Live at Brooklyn Bowl. Playing shows (or Love Revivals) in over 60 different cities within the last year from coast to coast, BroJo has spread the love to many of the nation’s biggest stages, including Discover Jazz Festival (VT), Clearwater Festival (NY), Summer Camp (IL), Musikfest (PA), Tropical Heatwave (FL), Crawfish Fest (NJ), Harvest Fest (AR), and Bele Chere (NC). Their third album, Revolution of Love, is expected to be released in Spring 2013.
