Broken Cities is now a Quintet from Oakland, CA. They formed in 2008 and completed the recording of their debut album FLUX in 2010.
They are currently in the process of releasing their album track by track in a way that has yet to be done by any other artist. This involves licensing each track under a generous Creative Commons license so that the entire album will eventually be free to all. After the first free track, each remaining track will be released after the song’s donation goal has been met.
