“Me Against the Music” was a huge international success, reaching the top three in nearly every country in which it charted; it reached number one on the United World Chart for four weeks. The single sold 5.360.000 copies worldwide. It managed to get 2.608.000 of those points in 2003 alone, making it the 27th best-selling single of that year. It went to #1 on the U.S. Hot Dance Club Play chart in the Winter of 2003.
