Plus, most of the 'completions' (which I believe consist almost entirely of added lyrics) are completely unnecessary.

SMiLE always WAS a jigsaw puzzle. A very complex and ever expanding puzzle that was impossible to finish. Frankly the difference between this and the the SMiLE Sessions is so minimal that it's hard to say this (without the Beach Boys' gorgeous vocals or The Wrecking Crew) is any better. They're both very very far from what would have been the finished product (which to be honest, had he continued, wouldn't have been until the '70s)

This is way better than The SMiLE Sessions.SMiLE and Pet Sounds probably share spot number 1 on my favorite albums of all time list.

Beach Boys Smile Sessions feels like a Jigsaw Puzzle of something great. This feels like a complex complete production. [2]

A perfect album. If not perfect, then it scratches and nearly grasps perfection.

Thanks to the Wondermints for their dedication and labor of love. This SMiLE may not equal the boots but it was necessary and wonderful nonetheless.

You'll soon be able to find out, I believe the original Smile is coming out quite soon. Better than Pet Sounds? oh yes

I am a huge Beatlemaniac, but I can't help but wonder if this album would have blown Sgt. Pepper's out of the water in the 60's, it is THAT excellent.

If only, if only this was released in the 60's.
