    April 2013
  • sunheadbowed

The last 25 seconds is Eno's inner cyborg exploding in an electronic rage of violence against an imaginary Bryan Ferry.

No, Daltonls, I shall not deal with it. Though I do indeed also like the devolving conclusion. I just can't deal with your issues. Not just now anyway. Maybe later.

I love Bryan Ferry so much, and I love Brian Eno, and his Ferry impersonation seriously breaks my heart. and DAMN, I think Roxy Music was perfectly fine without Eno. If their 80s albums are in question, turn your heads to the terrible albums every other great artist was making in the 80s.

@collectanimals: the 'oh no' parts are like, my favourite parts, next to the ending (which is like, the best chunk of any song evar).

    Make that the "direct-inject anti-ray gun".-If I recall correctly.

    June 2009
  • taa28

Ahhhh, fine stuff: Eno playing his anti-jazz ray gun...

    June 2009
  • blacktapegrrl

Damn. One of the best lyrical bitchslaps ever. EVER!

    June 2009
  • subwersja

@OptionalToaster: the same! and funny how eno can claim this is not about bryan ferry after he's done this obvious ferry immitation ("as you peck your way up there"). i always feel like this is eno saying: "see, bryan, i'm fine without you". just think what roxy music could have become if eno hadn't left.

the last 20 seconds are what todays noise bands are trying to sound like.
